A behavioral Healthcare client in Bradenton, Fl is looking to for Registered Nurses to join their team.
These will be 3X12 shifts from (7a-7p or 7p-7a).
This resource will be providing nursing care and monitoring to patients.
This resource must be able to perform charge nurse duties and have general base knowledge of mental health/addiction nursing and psychiatric medications.
Essential Functions/Job Duties:
1.
Performs Nursing Assessments and monitoring of Adults/Adolescents2.
Obtains and enters orders into EMR from Attending/on-call physician3.
Administers medications and treatments efficient and effectively as prescribed by a physician.
4.
Evaluates clients/patients nursing needs; develops and maintains Treatment Plan.
5.
Provides guidance to Behavioral Health Technicians in their administering to the nursing needs of clients/patients.
6.
Coordinates client/patient staff assignments for patient care and documentation7.
Effectively leads team in delivering patient care as unit Charge Nurse8.
Actively participates in PI (Peer Review) and disseminates information to staff.
9.
Monitors seclusion and restraint for appropriate patient care and documentation.
