Biowest products are in use throughout the academic, industrial and government research sectors in fields spanning cell biology, genomics, proteomics, virology, immunology, drug discovery and toxicology.
As part of our growing team, as a Customer Service Representative, your main focus will be will acting as a liaison, providing product/services information, answering questions, and resolving any emerging problems that our customer accounts might face with accuracy and efficiency.
Our ideal candidate also has essential data entry skills, like fast typing with an eye for detail and familiarity with spreadsheets and online forms.
Responsibilities Manage large amounts of incoming phone calls Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve satisfaction Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools Meet personal/customer service team sales targets and call handling quotas Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies Take the extra mile to engage customers Insert customer and account data by inputting text based and numerical information from source documents within time limits Compile, verify accuracy and sort information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible and check output Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents Apply data program techniques and procedures Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations and perform backup operations Keep information confidential Respond to queries for information and access relevant files Comply with data integrity and security policies Ensure proper use of office equipment and address any malfunctions Requirements and Skills Proven customer support experience or experience as a Client Service Representative Track record of over-achieving quota Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening Familiarity with CRM systems and practices Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively Experience with MS Office and data programs Experience with Salesforce a plus Familiarity with administrative duties Experience using office equipment Typing speed and accuracy Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar and punctuation Attention to detail Confidentiality Organization skills, with an ability to stay focused on assigned tasks High school diploma; additional computer training or certification will be an asset Job Type:
