Psychologist - RESPONSIBILITIES (listed are included but not limited to)
  • The Psychologist (General) will be responsible for assessing individual's mental and emotional health through conducting interviews, tests, and observations.
  • Will diagnose psychological disorders and issues based on their assessments and observations.
  • Provide counseling and therapy sessions to help individuals overcome challenges and improve their overall well-being.
  • Conducting research to advance understanding of human behavior and develop new treatment methods is integral to the psychologist's role.
  • Shall participate in professional development activities to stay updated on the latest research, techniques, and ethical guidelines.
  • The psychologist ensures confidentiality and privacy of client information is paramount in the practice of psychology.
  • Maintain a level of productivity comparable with that other individuals performing similar services is expected.
  • Performing efficiently in emergency patient situations, following established protocols, remaining calm, and informing appropriate persons while documenting events is crucial.
  • The Psychologist maintains documentation of all treatment provided in accordance with clinic directives and preparing such records and reports as may be required is mandatory.
Psychologist - REQUIREMENTS
  • Degree:
    Must have a PhD or PsyD from an accredited college or university by the American Psychology Association with a doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology.

  • Experience:
    Must have at least one year of full-time experience in the last two years.
  • Licensure:
    Must hold a current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a psychologist in the state of Florida.
