The Commercial Lines Account Manager will perform the functions:
- Aid clients with service needs and making changes to existing accounts
- Meet service and sales delivery standards
- Specific service and marketing responsibilities
Along with assisting the Producer with the goal of increasing new business production and client retention, the Commercial Lines Account Manager position also entails:
- Serving internal and external customers in a positive, professional manner
- Resolving client issues efficiently and accurately primarily through phone and electronic communication methods
- Responsible for keeping Commercial Lines Producers advised of deadlines and updates
- Utilizing superior customer service skills to respond to clients requests in methods that exceed their expectations
Responsibilities &
Qualifications:
- Position entails servicing new and renewal business and the ability to interact with underwriters, customers and agency producers
- Candidate should have working knowledge of a paperless system/environment
- Process new and renewal business, audits, endorsements, certificates of insurance, and other related items
- Must have a solid understanding of commercial lines insurance, terms and coverages
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus 1 - 3 years of related experience in a Commercial Lines Insurance agency environment or with an insurance carrier
- Valid 4-40 CSR license required, 2-20 preferred
Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills, including telephone and listening skills
- Must have intermediate Microsoft Office knowledge including Excel
- Must have good oral and written communication, interpersonal, problem solving, decision making, and math skills, as well as detail orientation
