The Purpose for the Quality Assurance Technician Position:
The incumbent will hold responsibility for monitoring and appropriate documenting Company Quality and Food and Safety Programs. When holding this position, the candidate will also be responsible for the implementation of, and adhere to, the whole range Quality, Food Safety and Sanitation guidelines regarding the warehousing product, discharging vessels and loading trucks.
Quality Assurance Technician Position Accountabilities:
- Monitor and appropriately document product condition, quality and pulp warehouse fruit temperatures.
- Monitor and professionally document product condition, quality and pulp temperatures in the process of vessel discharge.
- Perform all the other Quality Assurance functions, such as quality checks of the truck loading as required by the Quality Assurance Manager.
- Provide help with the USDA / CBP functions such as fumigation oversight as well as APHIS fruit inspections.
Requirement
You Are Required to
- Have a High School Diploma or equivalent from a reputed and accredited institution.
- Demonstrate great oral and writing communication skills.
- Have from 1 to 2 years (as minimum) of previous professional experience in any related area.
- Be able to handle your duties flexible shifts.
- Have professional skills in produce industry.
- MS Office Programs knowledge (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
Education
Have a High School Diploma or equivalent from a reputed and accredited institution.
